Don't miss the #GiantGazillionBubbles Twitter Frenzy later today !

This week UKMumsTV are celebrating the launch of the new Giant Gazillion Bubbles range from Funrise International and what better way to celebrate than with a Twitter frenzy?!

Today at 5pm, you can join in the frenzy for 90 minutes of Giant Gazillion fun and prizes. Simply follow @UKMumstv and use the hashtag #GiantGazillionBubbles to get involved. As usual, there will be prizes to be won ... gazillions of them in fact !!

We've been lucky enough to review some of the range here on the blog.

You may have seen the oodles of bubbles that we produced effortlessly with the Gazillion Tornado Mega Bubble Blower (click through for our review).

Or if you prefer quality to quantity, you may prefer the Giant Gazillion Super Sized Bubble Fun Giant Power Wand which was harder to master but created the most amazing bubbles.

We had great fun with both of them. They really appealed to all three of the Madhouse kids and I had just as much fun as they did, trying to capture the perfect photo. I love the colours in this one.

Child Psychologist, Dr Amanda Gummer, has been extolling the virtues of bubble play and getting out into the great outdoors. She explains : “Just half an hour of outdoor play has lots of health and psychological benefits for children. Simply being outside in the natural light stimulates the ‘happy hormone’ serotonin and helps regulate a child’s biological clock, which is vital to the immune system and positively contributes to a child’s health.  [...] One toy we’ve seen children captivated by is a bubble machine! Children seem to have a natural instinct that makes them want to catch bubbles the moment they see them. They will follow a single bubble for miles for the small satisfaction of popping it. There’s a lot of running and jumping involved in catching bubbles too which is simply brilliant exercise (and children are so focused on the bubbles, they don’t even notice it’s good for them).” I have to admit, I usually end up joining in with the chasing and popping too !

For more bubble fun, don't forget to head over to the twitter frenzy this afternoon. See you there @cherylp59 ! :)

  1. I know they are designed for little kids but this big kid would love one in her garden too.
