Giveaway #621 : Win Fireman Sam Sam's Birthday dvd - closed - winner Samantha O' Donnell

Unbelievable as it may seem, 2017 marks the 30th anniversary of Fireman Sam coming to our screens. I still remember him when he first showed up in his shiny red fire engine with his cheerful song about being the hero next door, and his popularity has gone from strength to strength. All three of the Madhouse kids have enjoyed watching him on TV (Pierre still does) and frequently point out potentially dangerous things that they've seen on Fireman Sam on our adventures out and about  - including some that I didn't know about, like an overheating compost heap with smoke coming out of it !

To mark the special occasion, a new DVD collection of tales and rescues was released by Abbey Home Media yesterday (Monday 3rd April), called “Fireman Sam – Sam’s Birthday”. In this new DVD release, as the name suggests, it’s Fireman Sam’s birthday and Charlie has asked Joe to make Sam a remote control model of Jupiter as a surprise present. At the Fire Station, Station Officer Steele has told Sam, as it’s his birthday, he should relax for the day. However, will the birthday party go ahead as planned for everyone’s favourite hero next door?

Episodes featured in this charming collection are: Sam’s Birthday; Pontypandy in the Park; Paddle On; The Great Party Panic; and Pizza Pandemonium.

We always laugh at how accident-prone everyone is in Pontypandy and love seeing Fireman Sam spring into action to get everyone out of their unfortunate scrapes and misadventures, whether fighting fires, manning the lifeboat, helping the mountain rescue or joining up with the emergency medical services. With his colourful cast of helpers, he is always there to lend a hand!

To celebrate the special anniversary, I have a copy of the new dvd to give away to a lucky Madhouse Family Reviews reader. Fill in your entries via the Rafflecopter widget below.

UK only. Closing date : 18/4/17

T & C's : Entries close at midnight on the closing date. Winners will be selected with a random number generator and announced on facebook and in the giveaway post subject line. Please note, you will be contacted by email and/or twitter and if I haven't heard from you after 28 days, I'll have to pick another winner. Prizes will be sent out by the companies or their PR directly to winners. Madhouse Family Reviews cannot be held responsible for any prizes that go astray !
