What's Cooking at The Madhouse? menu plan 6/10

Last week I posted a whole week of "from scratch" meal ideas, mainly from bookmarked recipes, and this week it's mainly using up cooking kits and things from the freezer. I'll be running both side-by-side over two weeks on a mix and match basis, depending on what time I get home from work and how tired I am

Saturday

lunch - Time for the traditional KFC/Burger King/McDonald's option

dinner - cheese & ham baguette toasties

Sunday

lunch - roast dinner, probably chicken

dinner - leftovers from lunch or fridge grazing - or possibly chicken & veg soup if we had a roast chicken

Monday

 lunch - spaghetti carbonara

dinner - there's some duck breasts in the freezer - crispy duck pancakes maybe - or Chinese 5 spice duck with rice and veg

Tuesday

packed lunch - leftover duck with salad

dinner - In the latest Degustabox were two products from Santa Maria's Latin American Kitchen range : Brazilian Xinxim Peanut Sauce, which is a zesty peanut sauce with lemon & ginger, and Coconut & Chili Rice - perfect for a speedy meal with chicken and veg after a long day at work

Wednesday

lunch - tacos with guacamole, salad, sweetcorn, rice

dinner - ramen noodles soup or stir fry (with chicken or prawns and veg)

Thursday

packed  lunch - tuna & salad wrap

dinner - battered fish, spicy wedges and mushy peas

Friday

packed lunch - ham & coleslaw sandwich

dinner - mac & cheese, possibly with added prawns
