What's Cooking at The Madhouse? menu plan 1/12

In French schools, at the end of each term, all the teachers of each class get together, along with the pupil and parents representatives and the headmaster or deputy head, to discuss the behaviour and marks of each pupil, as well as any problems. I have seven classes so that means I have one or two meetings after school for the whole of next week (except Wednesday). There won't be a great deal of cooking going on, especially as Friday is also the Christmas party at Madhouse Daddy's works - there will be a magician and Santa giving out presents, plus lots of nibbles and champagne/fruit juice. Not really worth doing a menu plan this week, is it ?!

Saturday

lunch - Time for the traditional KFC/Burger King/McDonald's option

dinner - lentil & bacon soup

Sunday

lunch - roast dinner, probably chicken

dinner - chicken soup with leftovers from lunch or fridge grazing

Monday

 lunch - spaghetti carbonara

dinner - something in the slow cooker - pulled BBQ chicken & rice maybe?

Tuesday

dinner - something from the freezer or a can of soup

Wednesday

lunch - cheesy rice and broccoli bake with beefburgers

dinner - baharat spiced duck with noodles

Thursday

dinner - smoked salmon bagels

Friday

dinner - nibbles at the Christmas party

Ohh! Pulled BBQ chicken sounds good. I've not tried that in my slow cooker yet!

  3. I like the sound of the duck - I have to confess I don't really cook that at home
