What's Cooking At The Madhouse ? menu plan week 15

Last week, I planned loads of new meals that we'd never tasted before - recipes that I have seen mentioned online, things that other menu planners have put on their weekly lists and things that I have bookmarked from ages ago. They were all really lovely and most of them used nothing but regular cupboard staples. I'll share some recipes with you when I've had time to type them up ! This week, I'm on the end of the food in the fridge, so it'll be tricky to know what will be on offer when I make it to the shops. I think I'll empty out the freezer compartment of the fridge actually, as it's stuffed full and I don't even know what's in there. I'll go and have a look now and work from there ... right, we can make it through to Saturday so Saturday and Sunday will depend on what I can pick up at the shops. I have to say, I'm enjoying using up things that have been hanging around. Time to have a good clearout !

Monday

lunch- I have some leftover cooked sausages to use up - they can be served with couscous, mixed with onions, tomatoes and mushrooms, and maybe some herbs and spices to liven things up.

dinner- spaghetti carbonara

Tuesday

lunch- quiche lorraine with boiled potatoes & salad

dinner- partridge fillets  - after  a quick look online, I think I'll try Partridge with Apple & Cider Sauce, with baked potatoes & veg

Wednesday

lunch- beefburgers with rice & ratatouille

dinner- I have some pork ... hmmm, how about 5-ingredient honey glazed pork, with noodles

Thursday

lunch-  BBQ chicken pasta bake

dinner- leftover pork from last night or BBQ chicken pasta bake from lunchtime

Friday

lunch- fish fingers with mash

dinner - chicken gyros with rice & salad

Saturday

lunch- spicy sausage casserole

dinner- pizza

Sunday

lunch- roast something with roast potatoes & veg

dinner- cheese on toast (or probably chocolate spread on toast for the kids)
