But somehow the catkins survived, fragile as they are. The wonders of nature !

    I love it when we see the first signs of spring. It's amazing how the catkins survived but the tree didn't.

    I saw lots of catkins on the trees this morning on my walk home. It is amazing they survived the storm but yet it brought fences down round here!
