VELCRO® #101Uses Challenge - #21 Fastening bandages

Me, Pierre and Juliette have all got a nasty cough and cold but Sophie was determined not to be left out and came home from school on Friday with a bandage on her wrist. She says it really hurts but doesn't know how she's done it. I think it was either from playing ping pong at school or, quite probably, overdoing it on the Wii (although she maintains she uses the other hand with the Wiimote). Following the school nurse's lead, I've been putting a bandage around her wrist, to offer it some support and also for the "magic plaster" effect that all Mums know about ! The only problem is, I couldn't get the adhesive tape or the long plasters that we had in the first aid cupboard to stay in place, especially when they got wet after washing her hands or brushing her teeth. Sophie was the one to suggest using a VELCRO® reusable tie to wrap around it. Not only does it do the job perfectly, it also looks pretty funky !

Disclosure : I received a hamper of VELCRO® products in order to take part in the VELCRO® #101uses challenge.
