Radox Eastern Spirit and Moisture Soak review

In honour of Valentine's Day, Radox sent me through two very pink and girly products to try out in the bathroom - I'm loving all these gorgeous pamper goodies that I'm receiving at the moment, it makes a nice change to get things for me rather than the kids !

First up was the limited edition Eastern Spirit Shower Cream. The official blurb says : "Step into a shower with our Eastern Spirit shower cream and rejuvenate your senses. This Limited Edition blend is inspired by the Orient and combines delicate Lotus Flower with the oil of Orange Blossom to help soften the skin. Rejuvenate yourself so that you're energised and ready to take on the new day." This smells amazing and is great to unwind and perk yourself up after a long day at work. I found it to be a really uplifting fragrance -floral with an undefinable exotic topnote that had Pierre sniffing me and telling me I smelt lovely !

The second bottle was Moisture Soak Bath Soak, described as a pampering blend with calendula and rose. Radox say : "The calendula flower is really good for your skin because as a natural conditioner, it helps leave your skin feeling soft. We’ve mixed calendula with natural rose essence for a sweet, floral fragrance that will leave you feeling pampered." It's a lovely girlie, floral scent that lingers on your skin and really is a feel-good fragrance, just as the packaging promises. It also creates a nice amount of bubbles in the bath.

With their luxurious scents and a silky texture that leaves your skin nice and soft, the products are ideal for a relaxing soak in the bath or a refreshing shower. The ingredients lists do contain a few things I'd rather not see, such as SLS and other things that are too long to pronounce (usually a sign that's it not a natural ingredient, in my experience) but there are also natural extracts (Calendula Officinalis Extract and Rosa Gallica Extract in the Moisture Soak, Nelumbo Nucifera Flower Extract and Citrus Aurantium Amara Flower Extract in Eastern Spirit, for example). For a pampering treat on a budget, they're ideal. The colours look very pretty on your bathroom shelf too !

star rating : 4.5/5

RRP : Moisture Soak £2, Eastern Spirit £2015 (but currently half price offers across the Radox range at Boots)
