Oooh - Picked as a winner by a celeb chef, no less !

Just back from a 3-day trip to London with a coachload of screaming schoolkids to discover this email in my huge backlog :

Hi Cheryl,

Congratulations - the reduced calorie recipe that you entered for the Sprite recipe challenge has been chosen by celebrity chef Rachel Allen as a winner!

Rachel was really impressed by your use of creativity to reduce calories in your favourite meal while still ensuring great taste.

As a result, we are delighted to offer you the opportunity to attend the cookery masterclass, hosted by Rachel herself, at Food at 52 in London on Monday 10th June.

The masterclass will kick-off at 4pm with a drinks reception, before the two hour cookery session starts. During this time, Rachel will give you hints and tips on how to make changes to your favourite family meals to reduce calories while still ensuring they taste delicious.

Extra information: All ingredients and equipment will be provided so you only need to bring yourself

Please note, we will be filming Rachel for the session for a video that will be used on the Sprite and iVillage websites.

Please RSVP to confirm your attendance, along with your telephone number. If you have any questions at all, please do let me know.

Congratulations again!

Mea and the Sprite team

Unfortunately, I'll be slaving away at work so I won't be able to go but I'm still very chuffed to have been picked as a winner. You can see my winning recipe here : Chocolate Drizzled Raisin Bars
