Halos n Horns Zingy Orange Hair & Body Wash review

We recently received a tube of Halos n Horns Zingy Orange Hair & Body Wash to review. The enclosed press release explains : "This product was created to champion the genuine needs of parents who are concerned about the ingredients and chemicals they put on their child’s skin. Formulated with plant-derived cleansing ingredients, this hypoallergenic and non-drying wash is so lovely and gentle it can be used as an all-over hair and body wash. Halos N Horns understands how delicate and sensitive young skin can be, so Zingy Orange (and all its baby and toddler bath products) contains no SLS and no parabens. This means it’s not as foamy and bubbly as some other products – but don’t worry it’s still doing a great job!"

Having read this, I wasn't expecting much when I squeezed some under running water at bath-time, but it foamed up and made a great load of bubbles. The smell is gorgeous too, a feel-good fragrance that is really fresh and orangey. Apparently, parents gave feedback that it wasn't as zingy as they expected so Halos n Horns tweaked the fragrance. I don't know what it was like before but I love it now. In fact, I've been using it myself in the shower because it smells so fab and is just the thing for perking me up after a long day at work !

I was actually pleasantly surprised by the price - £3.05 for 250ml - and it's available  in Asda, Boots and online at Ocado

Halos N Horns has also created new series of fun guides for parents. Launching the series is Fun with Tooth Brushing, Fun with Hair Washing and Fun with Baby Massage. Each is packed with fun practical advice and top tips. All are FREE to download at www.halosnhorns.co.uk

Disclosure : I received the product in order to write an honest review.
