Sparkling Morello Cherry with a hint of Grapefruit Bottlegreen review

I first discovered Bottlegreen when I was pregnant and then breastfeeding and wanted something a bit special to drink for Christmas and New Year. I'm not either now, but I still like buying Bottlegreen because I love the taste and the kids think it's really grownup, so I was very excited when we were given the chance to try out the latest addition to the range, Sparkling Morello Cherry with a hint of Grapefruit.

Being marketed just in time for Christmas as the soft drinks' answer to champagne, it comes in a beautifully decorated bottle that would look perfect on the Christmas dinner table. You no longer need to feel left out if you can't or don't want to drink over the festive period.

I wasn't sure what to expect for the Morello Cherry flavour and had visions of something reminiscent of the Cherry Panda Pops that I used to drink as a kid, but it has a more subtle, sophisticated flavour. The added topnote of grapefruit nicely undercuts the sweetness of the cherry.

It comes in a 750ml bottle with an RRP of £2.39 and is exclusive to Waitrose. It's only available until February so make sure you stock up, if you decide you like it !
