Madhouse recipe : Peanut Butter Crispy Bars

I've made rice krispie squares a zillion times but I'd never put peanut butter in them before. It adds a lovely nutty background taste and a creamier texture. I love the fact that you only need four ingredients. Believe it or not, this is a WeightWatchers recipe !

Peanut Butter Crispy Bars

ingedients

300g cereal (the original recipe used Rice Krispies but I finished off some Honey Nut Loops and Alphabites)
4tbsp golden syrup
4tbsp peanut butter
100g chocolate chunks

Gently heat the golden syrup, chocolate chunks and peanut butter in a large saucepan until it's all melted. Mix in the cereal and press into a baking tin lined with baking parchment.

Put in the fridge to set for at least an hour then cut into squares.
