Baylis & Harding Beauticology Donut Shop review

If you're a regular reader of my blog, you can't have failed to notice all the wickedly indulgent sweet treats that I've been baking and sharing with you lately. We've had apple jalousie, chocolate panforte, mini baked ring donuts, some ridiculously delicious banoffee whoopie pies and even a very cute teddy bear cake. Well, today, I'm back with some Sweet Temptations of a different kind, and the great news is, they're totally calorie free this time !

Baylis & Harding have launched a new Donut Shop collection with tastebud-tingling fragrances including Frosted Sprinkles, Vanilla Sugar Donut and Blueberry Glaze. They feature girly pink and white packaging with a hundreds and thousands design and if the message hasn't got through loud and clear yet, there are pictures of donuts too !

The Frosted Sprinkles hand wash is my latest ally in getting the kids to wash their hands without a lot of nagging and it's working wonders ! Pierre loves washing his hands then obsessively sniffing them saying "hmmmm I smell of cake" ! At this rate, we're going to get through a lot of hand wash, but at £2.15 for 500ml, it's a price I'm willing to pay !

They also have some lovely gift sets that would be perfect for Secret Santas or Christmas presents, including this House of Luxuries one, available at Tesco with an RRP of £15. It contains 300ml Frosted Sprinkles Body Wash, 300ml Blueberry Glaze Donut Shower Crème, 50ml Vanilla Sugar Donut Body Butter and 50ml Blueberry Glaze Donut Body Butter, that all smell as lovely as they sound. Other options in the range include a Mug Gift Set (£10 from Debenhams) and a Luxury Cosmetics Bag Gift Set (£15 from Morrisons).

I think any of these would appeal to females of any age, from tween-aged girls right through to mums and aunties with a sweet tooth. If you like to buy a little something for your child's teacher for Christmas, I'm sure these would be a much more welcome gift than yet another box of chocolates too !

Disclosure : We received the products in order to write an honest review.
