What's Cooking at The Madhouse? menu plan 3/2

It's the last week before the holidays but it's going to be a killer, with parent-teacher evenings on Tuesday and Thursday so I won't get home until about 9pm - boo ! I think it will be either a case of freezer diving by Madhouse Daddy or I'll be putting the slow cooker to good use !

Saturday

lunch - time for our traditional Saturday morning trip to McDonald's to ease into the weekend

dinner - Vietnamese crispy crêpes - with veggies and meat in the pan, then you pour the pancake batter over the top so it all cooks in the batter rather than as a filling

Sunday

lunch - roast dinner

dinner -  sandwich or chicken soup with the carcass from lunch, if we had chicken

Monday

dinner - bacon & lentil stew with the leftover roast potatoes and chicken thrown in

Tuesday

dinner - hopefully leftovers from yesterday

Wednesday

lunch - spaghetti carbonara

dinner - cheesy chicory bake (or endives au gratin as they're called in France)

Thursday

dinner - pork stew in the slow cooker as long as I was organised the day before !

Friday

dinner - sweet potato fries with grilled chicken in BBQ sauce

  1. Hadn't heard of vietnamese crepes before but they look great. Think ours would like those too!
