ASDA Spiderman lunchbag and Olympics goodies

You may have seen my recent blogpost about ASDA school uniform where Sophie made a rather funky Olympic-inspired backpack (she's loving all the comments about her bag, by the way, so please feel free to leave her a message !). Well, Sophie's not the only one starting a new school. Pierre will also be starting reception class so he was over the moon when we received this funky Spiderman lunchbag that he can't wait to take to school ! He loves the bright colours, the shiny vinyl Spiderman picture and the satisfyingly long zip that he hasn't stopped playing with !

But all three of the Madhouse Mini-testers let out a squeal of delight when they looked inside because it was packed with Olympics memorabilia. There is a fabulous Team GB rubber duck, two GB racers cars, a Mandeville 8-in-1 pen and a Wenlock pencil-by-numbers set.

What makes this extra special is that we only got to see the opening and closing ceremonies because the Olympics fortnight was exactly the two weeks we headed off to Tunisia so we missd the whole thing. Sophie did enjoy seeing all the Olympics signs and posing in front of the banners on our day trip to London last week though.

Thanks to ASDA for making sure we didn't miss out on the Olympics completely and for making Pierre get extra-excited about his first day at school !
