Don't forget to support Pudsey tonight ! (The Pudsey Acrostic Meme)

If you go click over to BBC1,
You're sure of a big surprise
If you go down to Children in Need,
You'd better go in disguise
For every bear that ever there was
Will gather there for certain because
Today's the day that Pudsey Bear has his big night !

Yes, it's that time of year again - unless you've been going round with your eyes closed for the past few weeks, you can't have failed to notice all things Pudsey-related (I've mentioned enough of them here on my blog!) but just in case you have, New Mum Online has come up with a timely meme to remind us all to do our bit to help raise some more funds to continue all the good work that Children in Need do year after year.

She came up with the idea of an acrostic poem spelling out the name Pudsey, so here are The Madhouse Family's ideas for helping support the cause (and most of them don't even take any effort !) :

Put your hand in your pocket and throw all your loose change in the collection buckets at the supermarkets and in the street !

Unleash your culinary creativity and bake some fabulous Pudsey cakes and cookies to share with the kids or, even better, sell to make some cash for Children In Need (if you like the look of our Pudsey cake, Pudsey-fly cakes or Pudsey Chocolate Chip Cookies, click through to find the recipes)

Drop in to Build a Bear and buy one of their gorgeous Pudsey or Blush Bears

Scour the shelves for Pudsey-friendly groceries and accessories at the supermarket - even things like eggs and potatoes can create an automatic donation to the charity. ASDA have some fab Keep Calm & Raise Lots Pudsey T-shirts too !

Enjoy yourselves - have a Pudsey-pyjama day, just don't stay inside - get out and share some Pudsey love !

Yell about the Meme on your blog - join in, grab the code and help remind all your blog visitors to do their bit for Pudsey too !
