A hilarious charity craze has been sweeping the nation for the second year running and we were asked if we'd like to get involved. When I looked at the list of celebs who have been joining in, how could we say no? Vernon Kay, Mel C and Neighbours' Dr Karl Kennedy (Alan Fletcher) have joined in this year, while last year's participants included Taylor Swift, Coleen Rooney, Jamie Redknapp, Freddie Flintoff, Jack Whitehall, Tom Fletcher, Alan Shearer, Alan Hansen, The Scotland International Squad, Matt Le Tissier, Ian Wright and many more. Coleen Rooney and Jamie Redknapp became the King and Queen of the After Eight Challenge in 2014, with Jamie coming in at 3.5 seconds and Coleen undertaking it in an outstanding 3.0 seconds!
Liverpool football star Kenny Dalglish challenged the nation to take part in the 'After Eight Challenge' to make a mint for his wife's cancer charity, The Marina Dalglish Appeal, which was started by Marina after she was diagnosed back in 2003. After receiving fantastic support and care during Marina's treatment, the family wanted to give something back and make a difference to other sufferers of the disease. The challenge consists of placing an After Eight mint on your forehead and moving it to your mouth in under eight seconds using only the power of your face.
Kenny Dalglish said: "The After Eight Challenge is a great after dinner game, especially during the festive season. We want to get even more people involved this year and encourage them to donate to the Marina Dalglish Appeal and support a great cause."
Coleen Rooney makes it look so easy but it really isn't. Here's how we got on - Pierre got more chocolate on his face than in his mouth but he gets the prize for funniest faces pulled. I think I win for having the longest tongue though !
Don't forget, it's not just about having a laugh though. Click through to help make a mint for Marina's appeal.
