Poor seagull! We love watching the seagulls every time we go to Cornwall, they are such rascals and mischief-makers.
I often wonder about them when I see them, too. Around here, I'm told it's likely because of an eel.
Oh wow, I did wonder too, but I was more thinking he'd have had a run-in with a car !

It's the way birds and animals manage to care them. I imagine it was bitten off by something it was wanting to bite!
