I've recently been trialling the Ambi Pur 3volution plug in for a Savvy Circle project and have loved how fragrant my house has been lately. I've put it in the hallway so that you get the lovely scents welcoming you into the house after a long day at work. This is also the "doggy" area while we're at work and it's been eliminating any poochie pongs too ! As its name suggests, 3volution uses a regularly changing set of three different complementary fragrances so that you don't get used to the scent and suffer from "nose blindness".
We've been trialling the Vanilla Latte Starter Kit which is inspired by the welcoming aromas of coffee shops. As I'm not a big coffee fan, I wasn't sure what I'd think but it's actually a lovely set of fragrances that aren't at all overpowering and that are more vanilla than coffee. I bought a refill in Spiced Apple too which I liked even more, because it seemed more festive and wintry.
This got us thinking, here at The Madhouse, about which fragrances we'd like to put together to create our ultimate festive 3volution and the results were surprising, to say the least ! While the grown-ups were quite classic with pine needles/frosty freshness/glacial mint or cinnamon/mulled wine/gingerbread, the kids came up with some surprising ideas including roast turkey, Christmas pudding, mince pies and ... soot !
While I'm not sure any of ours will be hitting the shelves, there are plenty of other fragrances to choose from. We love the sound of Cotton Fresh ("If you love the smell of freshly washed linen, but not the actually chore of washing then this is the refill for you! Crisp, clean and fresh - perfect for the new year."), Lavender Sensation ("Looking for a calming scent that gives your home that flowery fragrance? You'll love this seriously relaxed refill choice.") and Thai Orchid ("Discover the beauty of Asia with this unique blend of exotic flowers. A breath of fresh air in the heart of the UK.")
What about you - which trio of festive fragrances would you like to see in an air freshener?
Disclosure : We received a Savvy Circle project pack including the product and money-off vouchers to hand out, in order to collect and share honest feedback about the product.
