What's Cooking at The Madhouse? menu plan 16/6

While you read this, I'll be wandering around the pretty streets of Canterbury on our final school trip. The sun is definitely here to stay for a while, so it's the perfect time for trying some Spanish recipes from my recent Kitchen Trotter box.

Saturday

lunch - it's that time of week again ... McDonald's ! Actually we've defected to Burger King lately but it's the same idea.

dinner - the Norwegians from our teaching practice exchange are over for the week so we're going out for either couscous or paella

Sunday

lunch - probably BBQ, if not, it'll be roast dinner. Either way, I'll be having a picnic in the dunes with the Norwegians. I hope they save some for me !

dinner - leftovers from lunch

Monday

dinner - pasta, rice or noodles with veggies and leftover BBQ meat chopped into chunks

Tuesday

dinner -a recipe from my Spanish Kitchen Trotter box :  solomillos de cerdo con Pedro Ximénez, filet mignon with vegetable rice

Wednesday

lunch - spaghetti bolognese or carbonara

dinner - patatas bravas with steak or pork chops

Thursday

dinner - seadas, cheese pastries, with bacon & leek risotto

Friday

dinner - polenta with goat's cheese & cherry tomatoes

  3. I love Spanish cuisine. I used to live there so really do miss it. The solomio de cerdo sounds lovely and patatas bravas are a favourite! Hope you have a good week x
