My Favourite Me: A Fill-In-Yourself Journal All About You! follows the popular "bullet journal" format allowing children to learn more about themselves as they fill in the blanks in this fun journal, answering questions such as, What's your perfect start to the day? What is your favourite hobby?, and how do you relax? What goals would you like to achieve in the next year?
This book will help kids dream, plan and track who they are now and also the person they want to become and is packed with inspirational quotes for children and practical tips to help them grow.
Describing yourself, your day, your routine and your personal space creates a great bank of memories to come back to in the future, but the quizzes and questionnaires also ask you to record your hopes, dreams and targets, then check back later in the year to see if you managed to achieve them.
Bucket lists have become hugely popular in recent years, but you don't have to come up with huge goals to achieve - it can be something as simple as getting a good night's sleep once a week or changing the colour of your bedroom walls.
I particularly love the pages that ask you to focus on (and keep a record of) the things that made you happy today and track your mood along with activities (doing sport, catching up with your friends) to see if they match up. Rather than giving advice, the book leads you to make your own discoveries about what makes you happy.
I had planned to give this to Juliette but I'm actually very tempted to keep it for myself as it looks so much fun !
