ProCook's funky new glass teapot

10-year-old Sophie (how old does it make me feel writing that ?! Double figures - eek !) has found a new passion for fruit teas and she always loves discovering the flavour but also the colour as she dips the sachet in hot water. She'd love this gorgeous new glass teapot from ProCook, the UK's specialist in kitchenware, cookware and bakeware.

Crafted from glass, with an integral glass handle, it has an inner stainless steel mesh basket in which to place loose tea or tea bags. It is finished with a polished stainless steel lid. The glass teapot allows you to view the steeping of your tea to your preferred strength so you can enjoy it at its best. The glass teapot contains 700ml, is priced at £12 and is available from http://www.procook.co.uk/. It would look very chic in our kitchen - better than a bit of string hanging out of a cup any day !

  1. This would make a great present for my tea-drinking friend. I like the way you can also see the strength of the tea. Thanks for the review.

  2. This is a very smart tea-pot. It reminded me of a transparent teapot brought to our table when we stayed in a rather posh hotel in London recently.

They popped the pot on the table and walked away. Hubby looked at it and said, I wonder if they're going to bring a tea strainer.

He sat there for about 10 minutes grumbling about the fact that he couldn't pour his tea before eventually realising that the teapot had a silver strainer built into the spout!

Clearly we're not cut out for life in posh hotels :-)

  4. What is it about Teapots that gets me excited!! I love Teapots. Nothing quite like a Sunday morning, with a pot of tea, to to up to go along with the papers!
