Giveaway #473 : Win a world map mural worth up to £250 including postage - closed - winner Arabella Bazley


After all this beautiful sunny weather that we've been having lately, I've got my sights firmly fixed on the summer holidays and have been idly dreaming about our upcoming adventures in Turkey. We've also been to Tunisia and Morocco as a family, as well as other areas of Turkey, and I'd love to go back to America and maybe Canada with the kids too. Closer to home, I'd also like to travel around Ireland and Scotland and maybe revisit my childhood holiday haunts in Cornwall or my student stomping ground in Swansea. There's something exhilarating about looking at a map and working out where you'd like to go next and what you'd like to see and do there.


This is why I totally fell in love with these World Map Murals, available from Murals Wallpaper. They have all sorts of designs available but my absolute favourite is this Kids Landmark mural which is educational as well as looking fabulous.


This Globetrotter Kids Map Mural is another design that would look great on any kid's bedroom wall. Using stickers to mark off the places you've visited in the world would be a great way of bringing geography lessons to life too.


It's not all world maps though - you might prefer this 1901 London map, for example. I think it would make me sing the EastEnders theme tune every time I saw it though !

They have a wide range of other themes available too, from animals and cars to beaches and graffiti, so if you want a simple and effective way of giving your room a makeover, you should definitely go and have a browse.

    I went to Egypt to see the Pyramids on a school trip when I was 15 & have always wanted to go back & tour all the sites properly. Probably won't happen now due to all the upheaval in the country. Other than that I would like to visit Hawaii as it looks divine.

    Last year was the best ever and I managed to travel to Italy, Switzerland and Florida with my family and even had a girls holiday to Spain. I would love to see the Northern lights and one day do Australia and New Zealand.
