What's Cooking at The Madhouse? menu plan 2018 week #19

This week will be a weird one. We're back to school on Monday but Tuesday and Thursday are bank holidays and I don't work on Wednesdays - woohoo, easy week ! I do have lots of appointments lined up though, so it will still be quite busy.

Monday

lunch - school canteen

dinner - garlic butter chicken with rice and veggies

Tuesday

lunch - Taco style mince & potatoes (with taco seasoning plus peppers, mushrooms, onions, ... maybe some courgettes or carrots too, depending on what's in the fridge)

dinner - Breton pancakes (there's a pack in the freezer from our last visit to the in laws') done the traditional way and filled with a slice of ham topped with a fried egg and grated cheese

Wednesday

lunch - spaghetti bolognese

dinner - crunchy chicken bites with potato wedges & peas

Thursday

lunch - garlic & rosemary roasties with pork chops & ratatouille

dinner - steak and potato hash (using up the leftovers), topped with an egg for those who want one

Friday

lunch - school canteen

dinner - BBQ pulled chicken sliders with homemade coleslaw

Saturday

lunch - fast food - I've lost track but I think it's Pierre's choice this week

dinner - Time to clear out the fridge and use up the leftovers

Sunday

lunch - roast chicken seems to be our go-to Sunday lunch

dinner - Cheese & ketchup toasties

    1. No problem at all - I wish we lived closer, then we really could meet up in real life :)
