The Princess Elizabeth (one of the genuine WWII Little Ships to feature in Christopher Nolan's blockbuster Dunkirk this summer) at dusk yesterday - I love the fact that it is naturally almost in black and white with the merest hint of colour in the sky.
It does look almost monochrome, I love the reflection in the water too.

DeleteI love the sky giving a hint of colour
ReplyDeleteThank you for linking up
I love the warm glow of the pink in this, it does look cold though #MySundayPhoto
ReplyDeleteIt was blooming freezing - just dropping down into the minus somethings as the sun set
DeleteSuch a beautiful reflection.

So atmospheric. You've caught the colour in the reflection too, that really rounds it off nicely. #MySundayPhoto
ReplyDeleteOoh yes, hadn't noticed that :)
DeleteA lovely time of day for photos and a very impressive ship.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fab photo, looks kind of spooky.

What a lovely peaceful scene with the water being so still. A far cry from what it would have seen during the war.
ReplyDeleteI'm really looking forward to seeing the film when it's released - it was fascinating seeing the streets being turned into a WWII film set and I can't wait to see how it looks on screen. My daughter is equally excited but for different reasons (Harry Styles !)
