Today, I'm delighted to announce that the Hotel on Shadow Lake blogtour is stopping off at Madhouse Family Reviews. After sharing my review with you this morning, I'm back with a lovely giveaway, giving you a chance to win a copy of this unforgettable book.
Hotel on Shadow Lake was inspired by a real-life event - the day that Daniela’s German grandmother finally received a letter posted by her own twin brother over forty years previously. The letter, a farewell to her and their mother, had been held behind the Berlin Wall and was eventually released to its recipients in 1990, along with thousands of other letters which had been impounded for decades.
Hotel On Shadow Lake tells the story of a similar letter - but its contents set off a chain of events which takes our protagonist Maya all the way from Germany to America, in search of her missing grandmother and to discover the truth of what happened to her family during the rise of the Third Reich. But when she reaches the mysterious Shadow Lake Hotel, she finds a place with family secrets of its own, as well as a chance for love and a new beginning.
If you like the sound of Hotel on Shadow Lake, try your luck - fill in your details via the Rafflecopter widget below.
