how exciting visiting a volcano, I hope it was fun.
Pierre was a bit disappointed because he was expecting to see lava and fireballs shooting out of the top ! lol
How awesome, was it fun? Thank you for linking up
It was interesting seeing the rock formations created by the lava - I'll be blogging about our time in Lanzarote very soon once I've sorted through the photos :)
Enjoy I have one from mount tiede from July this year
Ooh did you have fun? This was our first time in the Canary Islands (in Lanzarote) so it all seemed a bit surreal !
Wow, so cool, that must have been so much fun! Clio lending a helping hand for Coombe Mill
It was interesting - I'll be blogging about it next week when I get a chance to go through the photos :)
Sounds like lots of fun! x
I like to choose my holidays away from where there are tectonic plate activity (or whatever it's called). I hope you didn't get hot feet
No, they're just big hills now :)
OOhhh volcano! Did you go near one? I live in the pacific and we have lots of volcano and they are beautiful & scary at the same time. #mysundayphoto
They are all dormant so they're just like big hills but it was interesting to see the lava formations. My son is 7 and he was convinced that he'd see one erupting with lava and flames pouring out so he was a bit disappointed !
I went to Lanzarote with my best friend when I was 19. When we arrived I wondered where the hell I had brought her to but then we realised what an amazing volcanic island it was. Are there still lots of Cesar Manrique sculptures about?
I had exactly the same thought process !! Yes, there are still lots of Manrique sculptures and references all over the island :)
