What's Cooking at The Madhouse? menu plan 1/1/16

After a lovely week visiting the family, it's time to come back - back to menu planning, back to cooking and back to school and work too. Boo ! I'm not sure we'll have time to go food shopping this week so it's a bit of a basic menu using stuff from the freezer and kitchen cupboards.

Saturday

lunch - steak, chips and peas

dinner - frozen pizza or a tub of soup from the freezer

Sunday

lunch - roast dinner if there was something in the freezer to defrost !

dinner - cheese toasties or another tub of soup

Monday

dinner - cottage pie with root veg mash

Tuesday

dinner - spaghetti carbonara

Wednesday

lunch - tacos or fajitas

dinner - noodles with stir fried veggies and sweet & sour chicken or pork

Thursday

dinner - salmon with veggies and rice

Friday

dinner - meatballs and pasta with tomato sauce

  1. Sounds like a lovely comforting meal plan! I am having a bit of a love affair with toasties at the moment, so soup and a toastie sounds amazing!
