What's Cooking at the Madhouse next week? Menu Plan 5/4

Back to a normal week next week with no late nights - phew ! - so I should have more time and energy for cooking. I've plucked a recipe book (Saving Dinner by Leanne Ely) off the shelf to find some new recipes I've never tried before - the great thing is they all use store cupboard basics and things we have in the freezer - bonus ! :) I'm also going to make a concerted effort to use up some of the seasoning sachets that have been lurking at the back of the cupboard for far too long (probably because they're things I'm not sure about !). Fingers crossed they all taste nice !

Saturday

Lunch - Chicken Parmesan with Spaghetti and Broccoli

Dinner - Homemade soup

Sunday

Lunch - Rosemary Roasted Chicken and Potatoes with vegetables

Dinner - Red Onion Bagel filled with ham and homemade coleslaw

Monday

Dinner - Chilli Con Carne (with red kidney beans, red and green peppers, onions, mushrooms, carrots and any leftover cooked veg from yesterday) - probably with rice or possibly on its own, depending on the quantity of vegetables in it

Tuesday

Dinner - Beef & Spinach Pittas with salad & potato wedges with tangy cheese seasoning

Wednesday

Lunch - Beefburgers with rice (or whatever variation on the theme Madhouse Daddy Mike comes up with - he finishes before me !)

Dinner - Crock Pot Indonesian Chicken (or I might try it with pork because there seems to be a lot of chicken on the menu this week) with Asian-style vegetables (hopefully there's still a bag in the freezer) - this sauce sounds interesting, I can remember it's got soy sauce and peanut butter in it, can't remember what else without checking the recipe.

Thursday

Dinner - Saag Aloo (spiced potatoes and spinach) with Peppered steak

Friday

Dinner - Cashew Chicken with noodles or rice

What about you? What's on the menu next week for you?
