Last week, I finished off by saying "For the next two weeks, I'm on holiday so I'm back in control. Next week, I'll be pushing myself harder so I'll be hoping for a loss. To be honest, I'm happy to still be in the 87's !" I had big plans to get out running with the kids then storm Imogen kicked in with high winds and lashing rain. I did manage to fit in a wii fit run though and we went for a 13km walk too. Foodwise, there were highs and lows - I ate well most of the week, even having a Fry Up Salad for Sunday luch which was surprisingly tasty and satisfying, but then we went out for a meal for Juliette's birthday which meant Jambalaya and gooey chocolate cake ! In years to come, we'll remember eating the cake but I won't remember what the scales said though ! I've been tracking my food this week and came in under my calorie allowance every day, but it's always a bit hit and miss because I don't weigh anything.
Today the scales said 87.2kg - a 600g loss, that's good enough for me :)
Positives of the week
- The XLS is apparently still working in the background, balancing out the splurges on birthday cake
- We didn't get out for a run but we all wanted to - even the kids said "we should be getting out running" so it's ingrained now that the weekend = a family run !
- Great to see the scales on the move again :) Last week : 6kg lost, 13lb lost, 48lb to go - this week 7kg lost, 14lb lost, 47lb to go

DeleteA 13km walk! I'd die after 1.3km! Well done on losing this week. You're right though, you have to fit weight loss into your life, you're not going to have birthdays to celebrate every week but when you do you can't feel like you're missing out just because you're dieting. Have a great week x
ReplyDeleteLOL That's basically going to be what I write in tomorrow's roundup ! ;)
