We've been fans of Vosene Kids here at The Madhouse for a long time but I must admit that for ages, I thought of them as pretty much just a brand who are good for headlice repellent products. They certainly are that - I swear by their nit-repellent shampoo and detangling spray, particularly when there's an outbreak of the little critters at the Madhouse kids' schools - but we've been discovering that they offer so much more.
Vosene Kids have allowed me to sample an exclusive preview of their new products which will be launching in the next few months.
Joining the Gentle to Skin range is the new Caring Coconut & Mango Hair and Body Wash (RRP £2.49 for 200ml) which smells deliciously tropical. It contains coconut oil and mango essence, which is nourishing and gentle for even young sensitive skin. As well as being paraben and MIT free, it is also tear free, which is great news for kids' bathtime.
The Fruity Goodness range also welcomes two new products, Pink Pomelo & Vitamin C 2-in-1 Shampoo (RRP £2.49 for 250ml) and Pink Pomelo & Vitamin C Hair & Body Wash (RRP £2.49 for 200ml). We all love the zesty feel-good fragrance so I've been using it too - I always find there's something really uplifting and rejuvenating about zingy citrus scents so it's great as a reenergising pick-me-up after a long day at work. The 2-in-1 shampoo promises to leave hair clean and detangled, and while it's rich enough for the kids, I do prefer to add an extra conditioner on top for my long locks. As he's got very short hair at the moment, Pierre loves the all-in-one hair and body wash so he doesn't have to faff around with an extra bottle of shampoo.
I usually prefer a pump dispenser for a kids' body wash but the squeezy tube doesn mean you can also use it as a bubble bath to save clashing fragrances. The kids also love the cheerful fruit mascots on the packaging. It's a lovely range that the whole family can use.
