It's the last week of April but the weather's still undecided so I'm not sure whether to go for light summery options or winter warmers. A mix of both is probably the safest option, then I can switch the days around to suit.
Saturday
lunch - probably another trip to McDonald's soft play because they're still giving away Playmobil figures in their Happy Meals .... and it gives me a chance to chill out !
dinner - homemade soup - maybe pea and bacon for a change

lunch - roast dinner with all the trimmings
dinner - "bits and crisps" as the kids call our version of smorging ! (cucumber, cherry tomatoes, carrot sticks, apple slices, cheese, cured meats, olives, crackers, crisps, ...) & leftover soup for us
Monday
dinner - if there's lot of leftover chicken, a chicken & mushroom pie with mash & veg, otherwise empanadas with rice and salsa or mango salad
