MakieLab Makies review - The World's First 3D Printed Toy

Roll up, roll up - it's time for a double first. We've been asked to review the world's first 3d printed toy and it's also our first attempt at a video review ! Sophie was a bit stressed and wanted a script so she wouldn't get tongue-tied which is why she doesn't look at the camera much ! But enough about us - what about the product?!

So, as you saw in the video, inside the Makie's box, you get a card wobbling on a spring that has a code under a scratch-off panel. With this code, you go to the website or ipad app and create the doll of your dreams. Here's Sophie's creation :

Our code was for £99. The Makie's doll costs £69 but there are plenty of accessories and clothes that you can buy with the extra credit. We'll be back to show you our Makie's once it arrives (although you may have to wait until after Christmas because I think this may end up under the Christmas tree !)
