Cuddletwist Hair Towel review

You may remember when Pierre was smaller, we posted a review of the Cuddledry towel - you attach it around your neck like an apron, making it much easier to get baby snuggly and warm after his bath - and we thought it was ingenious. Well, they've just sent us through another product from their range that made us say "Why didn't someone invent this years ago ?!"

If you or your daughters have long hair, as we all do at The Madhouse, you have two options after bathtime. Either you let your hair drip dry and end up with a soaking wet (and freezing cold in winter) back, or you wrap it up in a turban made out of a towel but then you have limited movement and it invariably keeps falling down. Well, let me introduce you to a new alternative - the fabulous Cuddletwist Hair Towel.

Made out of soft absorbent towelling material, it is a much simpler and more efficient version of the towel turban I mentioned above. You put it on your head, push your long wet hair inside and twist it at the back then push the end through the elastic loop at the front to hold it in place. No wet back, no feeling cold, no constant retying of towel turbans - it's a brilliant invention ! It's also much lighter than a towel turban so you don't get neck ache.

It is made from bamboo fibre, which is 60% more absorbent than cotton towels and also has the advantage of not feeling rough or crunchy after it's been washed. It's designed for children aged 18 months + but it's stretchy enough that even adults should be able to use it too !

If you want the gingham trim, you'll need to pop along to John Lewis as it's an exclusive design for them.
