Phew, we've made it to the holidays (well, almost, at the time of writing !) which means, firstly, that I'll need to plan lunches as well as dinners and, secondly, I'll be having a clear out of my food cupboards again !
Saturday
lunch - Either a trip to McDonald's or homemade burgers with wedges and salad
dinner - homemade soup
Sunday
lunch - roast dinner or barbecue, depending on the weather
dinner - leftover soup for the grown-ups, toasties for the kids
Monday
lunch - steak and chips with peas

dinner - prawn and chorizo paella
Tuesday
lunch - Piri Piri Chicken with Pap (which hopefully tastes better than it sounds !)

lunch - pork chops with mushroom risotto and apple sauce

lunch - cauliflower cheese (with added bacon, mushrooms, onions, carrots, potatoes ...)

dinner - chicken curry of some description, using a jar of curry sauce from the cupboard (fishfingers, rice and sweetcorn for the kids)
Friday
lunch - corned beef rissoles, mash and beans

dinner - something in the slow cooker with lentils and pork
