May is the month of bank holidays in France - we get the 1st May (Labour Day), 8th May (Armistice), which are both Mondays this year, and Ascension Thursday, which often leads to "making the bridge" and taking the Friday off, so that's lots of long weekends in the space of four weeks ! I therefore predict lots of barbecuing which invariably throws my menu plan out of the window because we have enough leftovers for the next two days. I'm sticking with leaving a "joker day" on Fridays, to give some leeway for clearing out the fridge, as it avoids relisting the meals that didn't get made. I'm trying to make some headway in my bookmarked recipes too - it would work if I didn't keep adding to them !
