Christmas Gifts in aid of Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity

Christmas is a time for over indulgence but not just of the food kind ! We may still be in a credit crunch but people always push the boat out and buy loads of gifts for their loved ones, so I love the fact that this year, I've been discovering gifts that keep on giving by helping raise funds for vital charities. This time, I'd like to tell you about the Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity Christmas Gift Catalogue.

All proceeds from product sales will go towards helping fund accommodation for parents, medical research, new equipment and to redevelop old parts of the Hospital.

You can see the catalogue online which includes : Christmas cards, calendars, Christmas accessories, charity gifts, alternative gifts, gifts for her, gifts for him and gifts for children.

I've shown you just a few gift ideas but there are some really lovely ideas in their shop. I love the retro kids games that really remind me of my 70's childhood and the grow-your-own wild west garden/ magical fairy flowers / bug eating plant kits. I know the girls would love all the fairy things and the paint-your-own kits, including umbrellas, pyjamas and train set. I love the digital money counter jar which is a great way of keeping track of your loose change and magically adds up the total each time you drop in a coin. But it's not just stuff for the kids. You could actually do your entire Christmas shopping in their shop because they have items to appeal to everyone, and you'll have the satisfaction of knowing that as well as finding cool Christmas presents, you're helping a very worthwhile charity.
