Party Animals - cute collectible dress-up bears

I think it says a lot about my life that I have gone from being called a Party Animal to buying them for my kids ! But I love being a mum and wouldn't change it for the world so on to the toy reviewing !

I am absolutely convinced that Party Animals are sure to be the next huge collectible craze for little girls. They really remind me of a cross between Polly Pocket and Pet Shop and judging by how popular they are, I think it's a pretty safe bet to say that they'll be the next big thing. They combine the cute animals with the funky outfits and tick all the right boxes.

Party Animals are said to target 5-10-year-old girls and judging by the enthusiastic reactions of 5-year-old Juliette and 9-year-old Sophie, they're spot on. The toys are cleverly marketed in four packs but also twin and single packs, so they are affordable if your kids want to use their pocket money to add to their collection. Each bear comes with a cute costume and a sticker so as well as trying to collect all the bears, your daughters will desperately try to collect all the stickers too ! Cunning !

If they want to use their birthday money or are on Father Christmas's list of good little children, they may want to add the playsets to their collection too so that they can make up stories and play imaginatively with their bears. You can buy Hula Hangout tropical surfers' paradise, the Seashell Concert disco and Snowflake Lake winter sports wonderland.

There are nearly 50 bears to collect (although I'm sure that number will continually increase !) including rare, highly sought after VIP bears. Each bear belongs to a party team, such as Pets Party, Tropical Party or Ocean Party, so you can collect the whole team. For the serious collector, you can also buy a Party Animals Collector's Carry Bag which includes a sticker album to keep track of all your stickers too.

As well as lining them up on your shelves and playing with them, you can also attach them to your school bag or pencil case (or mobile phone, for older girls). If you sit down and work out how much they actually cost to make, they are expensive for what they are, but little girls everywhere will soon be going crazy buying them, swapping over their costumes and comparing collections with their friends !
