Three Barrels Mulled Wine Cocktail - perfect winter warmer recipe

Described as "the perfect winter treat to enjoy with friends and family around a roaring log fire", I thought I'd share this chill-busting festive recipe with you.

Three Barrels Mulled Wine Cocktail
 Serves 6

o 6 shots of Three Barrels Brandy

o 6 shots of De Kuyper Triple Sec

o 6 shots ruby port

o 75cl bottle of red wine

o 4 cloves

o 4 all spice berries

o 4 teaspoons of brown sugar

o 2 cinnamon sticks

o 1 bay leaf

Slowly heat all ingredients on a very low heat. Bring to a simmer – do not allow to boil. Take off the heat and allow to stand for 15 minutes. Serve in a heat resistant wine or punch glass. Garnish with slices of orange or lemon.

  1. This sounds amazing! Perfect with mince pies and roasted chestnuts.

Mulled wine always makes me feel Christmassy.
