What's cooking at The Madhouse? menu plan 25/7/14

This week is our last week at home before zooming around visiting the family in Brittany and Hastings then heading off to Turkey for a fortnight, so it's all about using up everythingin the fridge !


lunch -  possibly off to McDonald's - soft play for the kids - or homemade sausage rolls with salad

dinner - a big salad with bacon, mushrooms, onions, apple, tomatoes, olives, hard boiled eggs,  whatever else I can find !...


lunch -  barbecue

dinner - leftover bbq or sandwiches


lunch - Spanish tortilla (omelette)

dinner - pitta pizzas with salad


lunch - chicken thighs with roasted Mediterranean veggies and mash

dinner - quiche or pie, depending on what's left to use up


lunch - Moroccan chicken with preserved lemons, served with couscous and tomatoey chickpeas

dinner - mackerel on tost with tomatoes and salad


lunch - cordon bleu (chicken stuffed with ham and cheese) with rice and ratatouille

dinner -  leftovers


that's it - no more cooking for a month - eeek !

  1. Nice to see you give your family a nice variety of meals and use up any remaining meat to create other snacks.
