You may remember reading my review last week in which I told you all about Special K's new range of breakfast options. (And if you don't, you can click through and have a read now !)

The new porridges, cereals and snack bars launched this summer as part of the brand’s ‘Live in Colour’ campaign – encouraging women to live a life full of variety, choice and fun.

Leading the charge is Tess Daly’s Recipe, a blend of Special K with red apple, almond and vanilla flavour chosen by Tess herself.

The Strictly presenter, who has her face on the cereal box, was involved in the cereal-making process from the get go, assessing different options and being very clear about the taste she wanted. The final flavour decisions were even made at her home.

And that’s not the only new Special K treat this summer…

SPECIAL K PROTEIN CRUNCH

With 7.7g of protein per 45g serving - and all of that from natural plant sources – this is a great way to start the day with protein, but with a product that tastes great.

This new cereal comes in the form of delicious crunchy clusters. They’re made from six wholegrains with a touch of honey and cinnamon and toasted to perfection for a hearty crunch.

SPECIAL K SUPER PORRIDGES

Special K Super Porridges offer a touch of indulgence while still packing a nutritional punch. They contain barley, oats, rye, wheat flakes and spelt – with a selection of fruits, seeds and nuts for added flavour – and they’re high in fibre with seven vitamins and iron.

NUTRI K

The classic Special K flake has undergone a big change, and all Special K cereal products now boast the Nutri K flake, which has already gone into stores. It’s fortified with a bundle of nine vitamins and minerals and is now ten per cent lower in sugar. The various minerals help muscle function, immunity and vitality to ensure you get the most out of your day.

SPECIAL K GRANOLA: CHOCOLATE AND HAZELNUT

This granola delivers deliciousness in spades, despite having 30 per cent less fat than the average granola.

SPECIAL K RED BERRY CEREAL BARS

Special K Red Berry cereal bars have undergone a recipe overhaul. They now contain a mix of three different cereals for added texture, and are now a source of wholegrain and berries and are lower in sugar.
