Mike the Knight Mike's Mission Set review

Pierre's face says it all. He was over the moon when we received a Mike the Knight Mike's Mission Set to review, containing a helmet and sword.

The plastic helmet has a visor that you can put up or down and a chin strap to hold it in place. It also has a red plastic feather that you can attach to the top, so that it looks just like Mike the Knight on TV, but in the first couple of photos, we hadn't noticed it in the box !

The box says that the product is aimed at children aged 3+ but the helmet was actually very big for 4-year-old Pierre's head. It was however the perfect fit for 8-year-old Juliette. (You can see Pierre in the background who is most put out that his big sister had pinched his new toy !)

The sword is made of foam so it won't cause any damage when your little Mike the Knight fan starts hitting objects around the house/the pets/their siblings with it. (Pierre did all three !)

It's quite a basic set with nothing really remarkable about it, but both Pierre and Juliette had great fun playing with it, acting out scenes from the TV show and making up their own stories of dragons and damsels in distress.

star rating : 4/5

RRP : £14.99
