Back at Christmas (which seems soooo long ago now, even if it's only a matter of weeks !), I told you about the fabulous package of crafting goodies that we'd received from Yellow Moon, including this big pad of paint which is ideal for making hand and foot prints.
Pierre had great fun covering pages with handprints and I was relieved to see that it washed off easily. There was no stopping him so I decided to make them into artwork.
I did the first one to give him the idea and he was very excited to see his handprint turn into a tropical fish, with the addition of some foam shapes !
We worked together on this one - not quite sure what animal it is but you get the idea !
Pierre got very creative with his and came up with - I quote - "a mummy crab getting married to a daddy crab" !
Juliette joined in too and came up with a funky apple tree.
I've had to promise that we'll have another go, using footprints next time, so I'll let you know how we get on !
Disclosure : We received some crafting goodies from Yellow Moon.
Handprint painting is as wild as your imagination. Lovely ideas here. #minimakes
ReplyDeleteIt is amazing what you can make hand and foot prints into - such fun for kids x
ReplyDeleteThese look fantastic. I'm really keen to try but quite scared too - my two are only 5 and 3 - even colouring in is an extreme sport for them!
ReplyDeleteMaybe try finger painting first? Pierre's only 5 though - they soon get the hang of it !
Deletewhat a fab idea, must remember and try this when Baby R is a little older #letkidsbekids

Ahh, they're amazing! Love it! #Letkidsbekids
ReplyDeleteI love the idea of using your hand for the branches of a tree! That would make a great gift idea for relatives if framed.
ReplyDeleteThanks for linking up with #MiniMakes - the new linky is now live xx
