Kids' app review : Paddington Bear's Adventures

I remember Paddington Bear from my youth, but he's a character that the Madhouse Mini-testers aren't overly familiar with so I wondered what they'd make of the new Paddington Bear's Adventures app when we received a review code. Well, even without really knowing him, they loved it !

The app follows "everyone's favourite bear" on his adventures around some of the iconic London landmarks like Tower Bridge, Nelson's Column and St Paul's Cathedral and features some quintessentially British things like marmalade sandwiches and the Queen's guards, so I'm sure it will appeal to Anglophiles the world over.

As is the case with most of the Madhouse Mini-testers' favourite apps, it is made up of a series of five mini games :

- Spot the Differences, featuring famous London landmarks

- a jigsaw puzzle game, again featuring famous buildings around the capital.

- a Making Marmalade game

- an observation game where you need to place items in the correct place in Mr Gruber's Antique Shop

-a Tidying Up game, where you pack away items in Paddington’s case and keep his room tidy for Mrs Brown

All of these games have a choice of levels and unlock clothes which you can then use in a Dressing Up game. You can then create digital pictures of Paddington that you can use in Scrapbook mode.

It's a fun app with enough variety to keep the Madhouse Mini-testers coming back over and over again.
