TWICE THE FAMILY FUN THIS SUMMER WITH THE NECTAR DOUBLE VALUE EXCHANGE

Last week, Nectar - the UK’s largest loyalty programme - in partnership with Sainsbury’s revealed that collectors will be able to enjoy fun-filled family days out for less this summer, with the Nectar Double Value Exchange. For the first three weeks of the school summer holidays, cardholders can redeem their Nectar points in Sainsbury’s stores for double their usual value, with top restaurant and entertainment partners helping families turn their points into adventures this summer.

Running from Wednesday 24th July to Tuesday 13th August, the Nectar Double Value Exchange will allow collectors to double the value of their Nectar points when tucking in at Strada, Bella Italia and Café Rouge restaurants; watching the latest blockbusters at Vue cinemas; enjoying a day out at Merlin Entertainment attractions such as Chessington World of Adventures and Legoland or diving in to their local swimming pools, with the recently launched Nectar Swim initiative.

Nectar customers simply have to decide how they would like to spend their points, before visiting their nearest Sainsbury’s store to exchange the desired amount of points for a voucher worth double the value. Typically, 1,000 points are worth at least £5 when redeeming with Nectar partners, but during this event collectors will be able to redeem 1000 points for £10 off at their selected participating partner.

Even better, Merlin Entertainment venues, including Alton Towers and Legoland, already offer double value on Nectar points, so customers will be able to enjoy four times the value of their Nectar points for this three week event, meaning 1000 points will be worth £20 off.

James Frost, Nectar Marketing Director, says: “The cost of summer seems to rise every year and we know this really stretches the family budget, as parents try to keep the kids entertained during the school holidays. We’re always looking for new ways to offer our collectors great value at the places they love to shop and visit, so we’re really excited about helping families enjoy double the fun this summer with the Nectar Double Value Exchange. We hope our customers across the country will save up and take advantage, by turning their points into a family adventure to remember!”

Sarah Warby, Marketing Director, Sainsbury’s added: “The Nectar Double Value Exchange is another way that we are helping our customers to live well for less and will really help parents keep their kids entertained during the summer months. Customers can come in to store and double up their Nectar points for vouchers that they can use at loads of great attractions and days out across the country to help bust boredom this holidays.”

Customers should visit www.nectar.com/doublevalue to decide where they would like to spend their points this summer and for full terms and conditions.
