I'm pleased to say, I will probably never have to change another nappy in my life ... unless I do as a granny one day, that is. (Speaking of which, I was discussing this with the Madhouse kids the other day and decided I'd quite like to be called Nana when the time comes !) I remember that with all three of my children, I felt torn between the eco-friendly option of washable nappies and the sheer convenience of disposables. Well, if it helps you to ease your conscience, you may like to know that gNappies have come up with a happy medium.
Louise Kjellerup Roper, European Managing Director for gNappies explains : “An amazing product in its own right, gNappies delivers everything that's great in a conventional nappy, but has improved it to deliver environmental credentials with a 100% biodegradable, compostable, disposable insert, combined with a breathable covering that's better for your baby's skin. I feel very privileged to be part of the worldwide team that's changing the way the world thinks about nappies."
gNappies are also riding the wave of the royal birth media frenzy and have created new limited edition gRegal gPants. The plush purple velour embroidered nappy has a delicate gold crown atop of the signature “g”, adding a hint of royalty to welcome any newborn into the world. Prince Charles is a tremendous pioneer of doing all that he can to avoid leaving a "dysfunctional world" for the next generation so maybe he'll buy a few for his brand new grandchild !.
