a Trash Pack Street Sweeper !
What is it about rubbish that is so appealing to kids ?! As a child of the eighties, I remember the Garbage Pail Kids being all the rage, so I am not surprised The Trash Pack is just as popular. According to the press release, The Trash Pack launched in December 2011 and already over 3 million individual Trashies have been sold !
Pierre took one look at the Street Sweeper and excitedly squealed "oooh it's a Noo-Noo" - yes, even real-life street sweepers that we come across get named after the blue Teletubbies sucky-friend !
The blurb on the back of the box explains : "Trash Town is a mess. It's time to clean it up with the Street Sweeper ! Sweep up your Trashies and squish them into the waste catcher. But don't crash it or they'll make a messy escape ! Store your Trash Cans, Plug 'n Display heaps of characters and more".
Now, we live in a bilingual family but even we found the multitude of languages splashed all over the box a tad confusing ! Luckily, kids being kids, they just jumped straight in and played, bashing it into the wall to make the Trashies jump out and squealing with laughter as they got sucked up by the sweeper brushes !
star rating : 4.5/5
