MiniWardrobe Lego Wear review

When MiniWardrobe got in touch to ask if we'd like to review some of their kids' clothing, I'd never heard of them but after reading their email, I wanted to find out more. They present themselves as a children's clothing marketplace with a difference, which seeks to redress the unfairness that is currently so prevalent in the clothing industry by linking manufacturers and designers of childrenswear and gifts directly to their target consumers. They say that the costs saved in eliminating the traditional retail middleman are enjoyed by Miniwardrobe’s suppliers and customers, thus making it the most fairly priced outlet for each product.

That sounded great but the most important thing is the range of clothing  on offer. Well, that got a big thumbs up too - they sell accessories and gifts for girls, boys and babies from 0-14 years with close to 80 international brands.

They asked us to have a look at their Lego Wear range so I went to see what appealed to the Madhouse Mini-testers.

Pierre loved the baseball caps but he has already got several of those so I didn't want to get him another one.

Juliette loved the girls T-shirts from the range, which look great for summer.

But in the end, we opted for this funky Ninjago sweatshirt because we loved the vibrant turquoise colour.

Pierre was very excited when it arrived and instantly wanted to put it on. He was very happy to see that it had a large headhole that didn't pull his ears off when he tried to put it on or pull it off, as this is often a problem with sweatshirts. The material (96% cotton /4% elastane) is thick and soft so it feels really nice against children's sensitive skin.

The hood is a great fit too - big enough to not be overly tight or restrictive but not so big that it keeps falling down either. Pierre loves the design and can't stop doing ninja moves every time he puts it on !

If you want to find out more about MiniWardrobe, don't go away - I'll have a giveaway coming up in just a second.
