We love Little Charley Bear here at The Madhouse. We reviewed his first DVD Are You There Charley Bear? (here) last year and Pierre was over the moon to receive an Up Up & Away Charley Bear aeroplane toy to review last month (that we reviewed here).
We love Little Charley Bear here at The Madhouse. We reviewed his first DVD Are You There Charley Bear? (here) last year and Pierre was over the moon to receive an Up Up & Away Charley Bear aeroplane toy to review last month (that we reviewed here).
Well, the adventurous little bear has a brand new DVD out that was released on 7th May and we received a copy to review. Called Charley on Safari, it unsurprisingly (given the title !) follows Charley into the jungle to discover what noises the different animals make. He discovers a whole host of creatures, including monkeys, a tiger, sharks, a cheeky penguin and - our favourite - a Charleysaurus !
The DVD features six episodes with a total run time of 50 minutes, so the Madhouse Mini-testers sat and watched the whole thing in one go. Narrator James Corden (of Gavin & Stacey fame) has a really soothing voice and I love the way it's a calm DVD, perfect for quiet time or getting ready for bedtime, while still being big on giggles and adventure.
The DVD comes with a mini plastic Charley Bear toy so the kids can recreate some of the stories - or make up their own - once the DVD has finished.
Great news is, I have a copy of the Charley on Safari DVD to give away to one of you lucky readers. Watch this space - it's coming right up in a moment !
