As a Yellow Moon blogger, it's always lovely to get a surprise box of goodies through the post to keep the kids entertained, and receiving a package just in time for the summer holidays was very welcome indeed. I always think of Yellow Moon as a provider of kids' craft materials but this latest box reminded me that they sell a whole lot more than just that, including party bag fillers. The Madhouse Mini-testers excitedly unpacked some temporary tattoos, mini activity books and foam gliders, plus some personalisable party bags to put them in. There was also a Face Art makeup kit, a nail art kit and a glitter tattoo kit, which would all be great as party activities too.
The glitter tattoos kit is the item that got the biggest oohs and aahs from all three of the Madhouse Mini-testers. Inside the box, you get four sheets of adhesive tattoos, a brush and three little sachets of glitter.
Just like with normal temporary tattoos, you stick the base to your skin (we used hands, shoulders and arms and they worked in all three positions) then carefully brush over glitter so that it adheres to the sticky parts.
With a bit of practice, you can go for multi coloured designs. They look fabulous and last for several days, especially if you avoid the hands, which are constantly being washed, or areas that will be rubbed by clothing.
